Family History
He was the son of Charles and Rebecca Clayton and the brother of Percy, Bertha, Walter and Lily Clayton. In 1901 they lived at 263 Lenton Boulevard and in 1911 at 207 Castle Boulevard (both Nottingham). He was the husband of Hilda Annie (née Harrison) Clayton and the father of Winifred Clayton. Rebecca re-married (surname Foy) and lived at 3142 Triumph Street Vancouver British Columbia.
