Henry Todd Robinson was born in 1889 at Dublin, Ireland, he was the son of John a registrar at Mercers Hospital, Dublin, and Mary Anne of 34 Rectory Rod, West Bridgford, Nottingham. His father John was born in 1847 at Donegal, Ireland, his mother Mary Ann was born in 1854 in Dublin, they were married in 1878 and went on to have three children, the other children were Maud Elizabeth born 1881 and Florence born 1884 both were born in Ireland. In the 1911 census his parents are living at 139 Circular Road, South, Merchants Quay Dublin John 64 yrs is a hospital registrar, he is living with his wife Mary Ann 57 yrs. In the same 1911 census Henry Todd Robinson is a soldiers, he is 24 yrs of age and is serving with the 12th battalion Royal Lancers who are in barracks n India.
Lance Corporal Henry Todd Robinson enlisted at Dublin, he served with the 12th battalion Royal Lancers, as he was serving with the regiment in India in the 1911 census he had enlisted prior to 1911. Landing in France on 8th September 1914 he was killed in action on 19th March 1915 he is buried at Merville Communal Cemetery,
