Family History
He was the son of Thomas and Eliza Ann (née Elliott) Gregg of 97 Arkwright Street Meadows Nottingham. He was the step brother of Thomas (b.1873), Sarah Ann (b.1878), Florence ( b.1880), Ruth (b.1884), Harold Alexander (b.1887) and Claude Victor (b.1889) Gregg. Claude Victor was killed in action 25/5/1916. His step siblings' mother Sara Ann Gregg (née Ball) died in 1890 aged 39 and his parents married later that year.
