He was the son of H Taylor of Highfields Leicester and the husband of Elizabeth Taylor of 444 Vernon Road Old Basford Nottingham. (CWGC)
He was killed in action on 23 August 1915 and was buried in La Brique Military Cemetery No.1, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium (grave ref. D.6)
