William Job Bull was born in 1893 , he was baptised on 19th February 1893 at Quarndon, the baptism register shows him as Job William Bull, his mother is shown as Sarah Bull a single woman of Quarndon. He married Emma Bloor (born 21st December 1896 ) on 8th January 1916 at St Werburghs Church, Derby, they lived at 75 Parker Street, Derby and had a son William Albert Bull born 6th September 1917. CWGC Husband of Emma Bull, of Wharf Cottage, Bobbers Mill, Nottingham. His pension record card shows his address as 75 Parker Road, Derby and that his widow Emma was awarded a pension of 20 shillings and 5 pence which commenced on 23rd December 1918.

Private William Job Bull enlisted at Derby, he served with the 1st battalion Lincolnshire Regiment, he was killed in action on 28th May 1918, having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Soissons Memorial
