William Henry Quinn (junior) was born in 1900 the son of William Henry (senior) a steam crane driver and Annie Maria Quinn née Guest and the brother of Robert, Alice Maud, Walter, Lillian and Thomas Quinn of 10 Burwell Street, Hyson Green. William Henry Quinn (senior) was born in 1877 at East Norton, Leicestershire, Annie Maria Guest was born in 1877 at Nottingham, married in 1899 at Nottingham they had 7 children. In 1911 the family lived at 3 Brougham Place, Holland Street, Hyson Green William Henry 34 yrs a steam crane driver.

Military History

Private William Henry Quinn enlisted Nottingham, he was killed in action on 11th April 1918, having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial
