Father: Joseph Brown, born 1851 at Sandiacre, Derbyshire and working as a general labourer. Mother: Ruth Brown, born 1862 at Liverpool and working as a lace clipper. He had one sister, Millicent, born in 1885 at Nottingham. The family lived at 3 Windsor Place, Sneinton Road, nottingham before moving to 1 Wilmot Place, Sneinton Road, Nottingham.
Military History
He was called up for service and following training he was drafted to France. He was died of wounds in the Ypres Salient on 08/11/1918 and was buried at Kezelberg Military Cemetery.
