Walter Charles Walduck was born in 1895 at Bicester and was the son of Walter a drayman and Agnes Walduck née Evans of 45 North Street, Bicester. His father Walter was born in 1872 at Bicester, his mother Agnes Elizabeth Evans was born in 1874 at Aylesbury, they were married on 12th August 1895 at Merton, Oxfordshire, they went on to have the following children, Walter Charles b1895, Violet b1898, Edith b1900, Ethel b1902, Ernest b1903, Hilda b1906 and Leonard b1910, all were born in Bicester. In the 1911 census the family are livng at 45 North Street, Bicester and are shown as Walter 39 yrs a farm labourer, he is living with his wife Agnes 37 yrs and their children, Charles 16 yrs a farm labourer, Violet 13 yrs a scholar, Edith 11 yrs a scholar, Ethel 9 yrs a scholar, Ernest 8 yrs a scholar, Hilda 5 yrs and Leonard 1 year of age. Walter Charles married his wife Annie Elizabeth Hutton (born 11th May 1901 ) on 12th May 1919 at Fringford, Oxfordshire they lived at Fringford Mill Cottage, Bicester. His wife later re married to become Mrs. A. E. Wyld (Formaly Walduck), Of Normanton, Southwell, Nottinghamshire.

Military History

Gunner Walter Charles Walduck served with the 9th battery, Royal Field Artillery, he landed in France on 6th October 191. He died on 2nd November 1920 at Uttar Pradesh, India, He is buried at Jhansi Cantonment Cemetery, Uttar Pradesh, India.
