Henry Alexander Woolley

Henry Alexander Woolley was born in 1892 at Nottingham and was the son of the late Francis Hemsley a commission agent and Annie Woolley née Hicks of 26 Bovill Street, Radford, Nottingham. His father Francis (FranK) Hemsley was born in 1853 at Lenton his mother Annie Hicks was born in 1861 at Nottingham, they were married in 1881 at Nottingham and went on to have the following children, Frank b1884, Albert Edward b1886, Henry Alexander b1892 and Noel Hinks b1896 In the 1911 census the family are living at 26 Bovill Street, Radford, Nottingham and are shown as Annie 50 yrs a widow she is living with her children Frank 37 yrs a joiner Henry A 18yrs a general labourer and Noel Hicks 15 yrs an errand boy. Henry Alexander married Violet Blanche Bertha Smith in 1914 at Nottingham, they lived at 14 Graham Street Radford and his widow lived at 118 Radford Boulevard following after his death.
