He was the son of William and Charlotte Belcher of Lincoln.13/05/1914. He was the husband of Elizabeth (née Poucher) Belcher and the father of Frederick William, George Henry, Frances Annie, Nellie, Herbert and Mabel Elizabeth Belcher. They lived at 76 Titchfield Street Mansfield Nottinghamshire.

Military History

Initially enlisted in 1900. Completed his time and then spent a period of time in the reserves and was called up on 17/08/1914. Had served with the Lincolnshire Regiment and Sherwood Foresters. Stood 5ft 3 & half inches tall.
