Private Arthur Wilson, served with the 5/6th Battalion Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), he was killed in action on 20th May 1917. He is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.

Mansfield Chronicle Advertiser: 14/06/1917, Mansfield Man Killed. Pte Arthur Wilson of Scottish Rifles, son of Mr & Mrs Dewis Wilson of 1 Whyatts Yard, Mansfield killed in action on 20/05/1917. He would have been 24 on the 1/7/1917. Photograph printed in the 21/6/1917 edition. He had poor eyesight and had to wear spectacles. He had been in France from 10/1/1917. This man is commemorated in a book of remembrance held by Mansfield District Council.
