Mansfield Chronicle Advertiser, 27/07/1916: 'Cpl H Jones has died of wounds on 7/7/1916. He had only left England 6 weeks previously. He leaves a widow and 2 children. He lived at 15 Botany Avenue Mansfield.' This man is commemorated in a book of remembrance held by Mansfield District Council.
