Widow: Clara, nee Smith, married 1901. Children: Hilda, born 1903, Agnes, born 1905 and Ethel born 1907. Their son Ernest was born 1910 but died in 1911. The family lived at 4 Vallances Square, Nottingham Road, and when the CWGC register was compliled his widow lived at 66 Brownlow Road, Mansfield.
