Harry married Florence May Walker (born 24th May 1896) they were married on 29th January 1916 at Barnabus Church, Pleasley, they lived at 14, High St., Pleasley Hill, Mansfield, they had a son Francis born 3rd December 1918 Commencing 7th April 1919 his widow was awarded a pension of 20 shillings and 5 pence a week.

Military History

Private Harry Shooter enlisted at Derby whilst residing at Pleasley Hill, he served with the 7th battalion The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) he was killed in action on 18th September 1918, he is buried at Vendhuile Cemetery France.
