Harry LLewlelyn Ostler Haywood

Harry was born in 1895 in Weymouth and was baptised on 30th August 1895 in the Holy Trinity Parish Church at Weymouth, and was the son of the late Francis a seaman and Lilly Haywood, they had two further children , Beatrice b 1890 Portsmouth and Phoebe born 1899 in Lambley The family moved to Lambley Nottingham prior to the birth of their daughter Phoebe, in 1900 their father Francis died in Nottingham,aged 37. In the 1901 census , the widowed Lily Haywood is 31 yrs , she is a charwoman she is living at Rosseo Lane Town Street, Lambley with her three children, Beatrice 11 yrs , harry 5 yrs and Phoebe 2 yrs. In 1901 Lily Haywood re marries a William Potter who also has previous issue. In the 1911 census the family are living at 24 Church Street, Beeston and are shown as William Potter 44 yrs a council worker , he is living with his wife Lily 42 yrs and their children , Amy Potter 17 yrs, Reginald Charles Potter 6 yrs, Thomas William Potter 9 yrs Harold Leslie Potter 2yrs Phoebe Haywood 12 yrs, Beatrice Haywood 11 yrs and Harry Llewelyn Haywood 15 yrs working in a nursery. Harry marries his wife Maud Maria Webster in 1915 , their marriage being recorded in the Basford Registration area , they go on to have 2 children of Horace and Gladys.
