Military History

Pte. Thomas White, “C” Company, 6th Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers, was killed in action on 15th August 1915 whilst serving at Sulva Bay in Gallipoli. Reported missing, his death was confirmed on 19th September 1916 when his photograph appeared in the local press he is commemorated on the Helles Memorial. .
