Family History

He was the son of Ernest Arthur and Norah Mary Poyser. In 1911 they lived at 143 Robin Hood Chasem St Ann's, Nottingham, before moving to Woodborough Road, Nottingham (Nottingham Evening Post, 4/12/1916). His parents later lived at 138 Robinson Road, Mapperley (CWGC).

Military History

Served as 'Wilson'. Clarence served with the 1st Australian Light Horse under the name of Wilson. He saw service in the Dardanelles. He died in Nottingham of pneumonia and is buried in the General Cemetery, Nottingham. (Evening Post December 4, 1916)
