Family History

He was the son of William and Ann McCree and the brother of Maude, Ernest, Harriet and Albert McCree. In 1911 they lived at 20 Albert Square Walker Street Nottingham.

Military History

William McCree served with the 8th Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment. Formerly of the Welbeck Rangers, he was killed in action on 4th November 1918. He is buried in Wargnies-le-Grand Churchyard.
