Reginald was born in 1896 in Lakenham, Norwich he was baptised on 11th October 1896 at St Gregory Church, Norwich and was the only son of Harry Breame a railway clerk and Jessie Emily Breame née Covell of 54 Wilford Crescent East Meadows Nottingham. His father Harry was born in 1873 in Lakenham, Norwich and his mother Jessie Emily Covell was born in 1874 in St Phillips, Norwich. They adopted a son Harry Garton born 1909 in the Meadows, Nottingham. In the 1911 census the family are living at 161 Kirkwhite Street, Meadows, Nottingham, they are shown as Harry 38 yrs head of the family a clerk for the Midland Railwway Company, he is living with his wife Jessie Emily 37 yrs and their son Reginald Harry Julius Caesar 14 yrs a telephone operator and their adopted son Harry Garton 2 years.

Military History

Private Reginald Harry Julius Caesar Breame, enlisted in Derby and initially served with service number 49985 in the 3rd battalion South Staffordshire Regiment before transferring to the 2nd Battalion Prince of Wales's Own (West Yorkshire) Regiment he died at the First Northern General Hospital, Newcastle, on 2nd March 1917.He is buried in a private grave in Norwich Cemetery Norfolk (grave ref 38. 587).

Obituary published in the Nottingham Evening Post dated 1st March 1919 : - BREAME. – In affectionate remembrance of our dear and only son Reginald, who died at military hospital, March 2nd, 1917.
