Military History

Former Robin Hood Rifleman, Second Lieutenant Leonard Hollingworth, 11th attached 1st Battalion Devonshire Regiment. He was commissioned on 8th September 1915 and landed in France on 17th July 1916. He was killed in action on 29th August 1916 he has no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial
