Leslie Victor Chapman

Leslie Victor Chapman was born in 1898 at Nottingham and was the youngest son of George Frederick a boiler plater and Emma Chapman née Parnell of 95 Wilford Crescent East, Meadows, Nottingham. His father George Frederick was born in 1855 at Mansfield and his mother Emma Parnell was born in 1856 at Loughborough, they were married in 1878 at Loughborough and went on to have 9 children sadly one was t die in infancy their surviving children were , Elizabeth Ann b1880 Loughborough, Lois Kate b1881 Loughborough, their remaining children were all born in Nottingham and were Edith b1883, Arthur b1885, George Henry b1890, Wallace b1892, Minnie Mary b1894 and Leslie Victor b1898. In the 1911 census the family are living at 95 Wilford Crescent East, Meadows, Nottingham and are shown as George Frederick 56 yrs a boiler plater, he is living with his wife Emma 55 yrs and their children, George Henry 21 yrs a lace warehouse man, Wallace 19 yrs a clerk to a carboard box maker, Minnie Mary 17 yrs a book keeper and Leslie Victor 13 yrs a scholar.
