Family History

Albert Beastall (junior) was born in 1890 the only son of Albert Beastall (senior) a hosiery mechanic and Mary Ann Beastall née North of 114 Outram Street Sutton-in-Ashfield Nottinghamshire. Albert Beastall (senior) was born in 1867 in Nottinghamshire, Mary North was born in 1870 also in Nottinghamshire, they were married in 1889 their marriage was recorded in the Mansfield registration district, in 1911 the family were living at Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield. Albert Beastall (junior) married Mary Ann Barksby (born 3rd March 1891) in 1915 at Mansfield, they lived at 114 Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield. Following Albert (juniors) death his widow Mary Ann was awarded a pension of 13 shillings and 9 pence a week which commenced on 2nd December 1918.

Military History

Private Albert Beastall enlisted at Derby, he died of Pyamia (blood poisoning)caused by gas poisoning 15th May 1918, age 28. He is buried at Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, France. Plot 9. Row B. Grave 85.
