William Warriner

William Warriner was born in 1881 at Newark and was the son of John Warriner a bricklayers labourer and Mary Warriner née Birch of 8 Cawkwells Yard, Stodman Street, Newark. His father John was born in 1851 at Newark, his mother Mary Birch was born in 1851 at Derby, they were married in 1872 at Newark and went on to have the following children, William b1881, Walter b1891 and Sarah Ann b1895 all were born in Newark. William married his wife Minnie Edlin in 1910 at Newark, they lived at 26, Lombard St, Newark. In the 1911 census his family are living at 8 Cawkwells Yard, Stodman Street, Newark and are shown as Mary 66 yrs a widow and charwoman, she is living with her children, Walter 20 yrs a goods shed porter with the Midland Railway and Sarah 17 yrs a kitchen maid. In the same 1911 census , William now married is living with his wife at 39 Milton Street, Doncaster, they are both boarders at the address, they are boarding with William Ellis 38 yrs a wagon painter and his family , they are shown as William Warriner 29 yrs a railway porter and Minnie Warriner 22 yrs.
