Percy Frank Foster married his wife Alice Maud Allen (born 21st December 1892)in 1914 in Nottingham, they lived at 351, Alfred St. North, Nottingham they went on to have a daughter Elsie Irma born 2nd December 1914 and a son Percy Allen born 30th June 1918 1918. Commencing 4th November 1918 his widow was awarded a pension of 25 shillings and 5 pence a week.
Gunner Percy Frank Foster, enlisted at Mexborough whilst residing at Nottingham and served with 216th Siege Battery Royal Garrison Artillery, he died of wounds on 26th April 1918. He is buried in Vignacourt British Cemetery.

Foster, R.G.A., who died April 26th, 1918, of wounds received in action April 25th, 1918. Until we meet again. – His beloved wife and child, Alice and Elsie. “FOSTER. – Died of wounds, April 26th, 1918, received in action April 25th, 1918, Gunner P. F. Foster, R.G.A., he dearly loved son of Mrs. Foster and the late T. Foster, of 34, Bruce-grove. – Silently mourned by his sorrowing mother, sisters Harriett and Mabel, brother Harold, niece Hilda. “FOSTER. – Died of wounds, April 26th, Gunner Percy F.
