He was the husband of Kate Raybould and the father of Sarah and William Raybould. In 1911 they lived at 54 Pembroke Street Mansfield Nottinghamshire.

Military History

Private Walter Raybould enlisted at Staveley whilst residing at Stavelely he served with the 1st battalion Essex Regiment, his first entry into a theatre of war was the Balkans on 19th September 1915. He was serving on Gallipoli and was wounded in action, he was on board H.M.H.S Gloucester Castle when he died of his owounds on 5th January 1916, having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Gallipoli.
