Albert Cast

Albert was born at Nottingham in 1898 the son of Henry John a fruit salesman and Alice Cast nee Brooks, of 8 Morris Street, Daybrook, Nottingham. His father Henry John was born in 1870 in Nottingham and his mother Alice was born in 1867 in Nottingham , they were married on 23rd November 1889 in the Ilkeston Registration district. They had seven children: - James b1891 Cossall, Ann b1893 Ilkeston, Ellen b1895 Nottm, William b1897 Nottm, Henry J b1898 Nottm, Albert b1898 Nottm and Herbert b1900 Nottm. In the 1901 census the family are living at 28 Richmond Street, Nottingham , it has not been able to trace the family on the 1911 census. Albert was educated at the Daybrook Primary School and later at the Robert Mellors Secondary School Arnold.
