Corporal Claude Harry Clark enlisted at Nottingham whilst residing at Alfreton he served with “D” Company and it would appear that he was in hospital on 19.2.1916, returning to duty on 27.7.1916. He was twice wounded, the second time on 20.10.1916, when in the trenches near Fourquieres, keeping him from duty until the 7th December 1916.
