He was the son of Francis Godson Panting French who was a groom born in Warwickshire. His mother was Emma Elizabeth French from Huntingdon. He was the brother of George Frederick and John French In 1911 they lived at 36 Bruce Street Northampton. Thomas was resident in Nottingham at the time of enlistment and the address on his pension record card is 79 Woolmer Road, Meadows, Nottingham.
Military History
