Colour Sergeant Major Charles William Donnelly, served with the 2nd Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps, he was killed in action on 9th May 1915. He is commemorated on Le Touret Memorial.

Death notification published 15th June 1915 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “DONNELLY. – Killed in action on May 9th, C. W. Donnelly, C.S.M., 2nd K.R.R., the second beloved son of K. A. and the late H. G. Donnelly, 62, Lamcote-street, Nottingham.
