He was the son of Harry and Mary Hardy and the brother of James, Doris and Alice Hardy. In 1901 they lived at 18 Robin Hood Terrace Robin Hood Street Nottingham. Harry and Mary later lived at 276 Alfreton Road Hyson Green Nottingham.
Military History
Private Cyril Lewis Hardy, enlisted at Nottingham and served with 1/1st South Notts. Hussars, he was attached to 42nd Remount Depot, Army Service Corps, he was killed in action on 4th March 1917 and is buried in Salonika (Lembet Road) Military Cemetery. Greece.
