Family History

Lachlan was the son of Allan, a managing director of a brewery and Annie Morrison of 452, Glossop Road Sheffield. Allan and Anne had four children , Lachlan, Eva, Donald and Marjorie. In 1901 the family was living at Moor Oakes Road, Nether Hallam, Sheffield. By 1911 the family had moved to 13 Ranmoor Crescent at Sheffield. Lachlan was a boarder student at a College on Willington Road, Repton, Burton on Trent. His probate was proven at Wakefield on 5th June 1916. His effects of 3140 19 shillings and 4 pence were left to his father Allan Morrison a manager for a wine and spirit merchant.
