Kenneth was the son of the Reverend John Fisher-Brown (Rector of Folkton) and of Emily Magdalene Fisher-Brown of Hill Rise West Ayton Yorkshire. He was the brother of Norah, Emily, Cyril and Marcus Fisher-Brown. In 1901 the family lived at All Saints Vicarage Muston.
During his time at St Cuthberts College he became a sergeant in the officer training corps and was gazetted 14th November 1914 second lieutenant in the 1/7th battalion Duke of Wellington ( West Riding Regiment). He was killed by a shell and buried in Foncquevilliers Military Cemetery Pas De Calais.
Second Lieut Kenneth Cuthbert Fisher-Brown 'Retford Times 24 Nov 1916Second Lieut Kenneth Cuthbert Fisher-Brown of the West Riding Regiment was killed by a shell on November 13th. He was the youngest son of the Rev J and Mrs Fisher-Brown, Folkton Rectory, near Scarborough. He was educated at Worksop College and on leaving school, took up teaching and was a tutor to schools at Weatherly, Yorkshire and *** Herts. He received his commission in October 1914 and went to the front in April 1915. He was twice invalided home and only returned to the front in September last. He was 23 years of age.'
