Mansfield Chronicle Advertiser; 22/11/1917: Photograph. Pte David Wood, (Lincolnshire Regiment ) of 50 Bowling Street, Mansfield has died of wounds aged 20 years old. Worked at Crown Farm Colliery. Wounded on 20/10/1917 in both legs, so severely wounded there was no chance of recovery. He died at 4:15 am on 30/10/1917.
