John Hornibrook married Emma Raynor in 1913 (A/M/J Basford) and they had a son, John, who was born on 2 March 1914 (J/F/M Nottingham, mother's maiden name Raynor). The family was living at 7 Valentine Place, Broad Marsh, Nottingham, when John snr. died at the age of 34 on 12 May 1920. His son, John, married Joan BG Fitzwater (b. 16 August 1920) in 1939 (J/A/S Nottingham) and at the time of the England and Wales Register the same year they were living at 9 Archdale Road, Nottingham. Living with John, a knitter mechanic, and his wife was John's widowed mother, Emma (b. 9 June 1884). Emma died in 1951 (J/A/S Nottingham). John jnr. died in 1992 (Feb Nottingham) aged 77.
