They had two children; William Edward, born in 1906 in Nottingham and Frederick, born in April 1911 in Nottingham.

Military History

Pte. Thompson was called up for service and following training he was drafted to France. The battalion took parting the final push against the German field army and Pte. Thompson was killed in action on 04/10/1918. He was buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gouy.
