Thomas E. Barlow was born in 1882 in Nottingham and worked as a dropper maker. Eliza Barlow was born in 18883 in Nottingham. They had eight children, though three had died in infancy. Military History

Pte. Barlow volunteered for service and following training he was drafted to France, arriving on 25/06/1915. He served with the 7th Bn Sherwood Foresters, but was later transferred to 204th Area Employment Company, Labour Corps. He was taken to hospital at Etretat where he died on November 1, 1918 and was buried at Etretat Churchyard Extension.
