Military History

He served with the 153rd Coy, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) having transferred from the Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby Regiment) (57182). He was reported missing on 16 May 1917 but his death was not confirmed until March the following year. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial Bay 10.
