Family History
He was the son of John (died 1921) and Emma Bosworth and the brother of Lucy, William H, Robert, Eliza, Ada, Emma G, Beatrice and Gertie Bosworth. The family lived at 3 Park Place Park Lane Basford Nottingham in 1891, 12 Albert Street in 1911 and later at 45 Northcote Street Highbury Vale (both Bulwell Nottingham). William was boarding at 79 Frederick Street Mexborough Rotherham in 1911.
Military History
He was a Sherwood Foresters Reservist who attested at Wakefield 29/8/1914 standing 5' 7" and weighing 150 lbs. He entered theatre 27/8/1915.
