9/10 July 1941 Wellington R1762 305 Sqn. Take off 23.12 from RAF Syerston to bomb Osnabruck, part of 57 Wellingtons to raid the target 2 lost. R1762 intercepted and shot down by a night fighter piloted by Oblt Heinrich Wohlers NGJ1 in a Bf110. R1762 crashed south of Meppen, Germany.
