Family history

Son of Peter Murry (d.1935) & Mary Ann Murry (d.1933); husband of Emily Ann Murry (née
Tennant) [Nottingham.m.1917], of 23 Hutton St. [e.1939], 2 Wishford Avenue [e.1945]. In January 1941 German planes dropped bombs on Hutton Street destroying a number of properties and probably damaging No.23. It may well have been after this that his widow came to live in Lenton. Both his parents' deaths occurred in the Huddersfield area suggesting that latterly was where they lived, although at the time of the 1901 census
the family were resident in Nottingham.
