Military history

Old Elizabethans Service Roll: Warrent Officer Leslie Thomas Woodward lost his life on an air operations in the Seine area. He was the pilot of a Mustang which was hit by flak and his endeavour to make a forced landing was unsuccessful.
IBCC: flew from B12/Ellon, France. Mustang I11 on an operation to locate barges on the river Seine.
