Family history

His parents were Richard Henry and Agnes Brown and in 1911 they lived at 12 Main Street, Shirebrook. He had 3 siblings, Ruth born 1915, John born 1920 and Frederick in 1923. After Agnes's death in 1931, Richard snr moved to Nottingham and he worked has a professional pianist.
In 1939 Richard married Ida Dorothy Atkins in Dover and they had a son also called Richard in 1941. Ida had been born on 18/19/1918 and prior to her marriage she lived at 8 Laureston Place Dover and worked as a shop assistant. After Richard's death she did not remarry and died in 1967.
