He was the son of William and Ethel Mary Tayles and they lived at 74, Eastwood Road, Watnall Chaworth (now Kimberley) in 1939. Albert Tayles and Avis Templeman were married in 1942 and they lived at 443, Nottingham Road, Giltbrook, Nottinghams
