Henry (Harry) was the son of Edward (died 1905 aged 48) and Mary Anne (née Chappell) Jeeves and the brother of Wiiliam Henry (b.1894), Adelaide Mary (b.1897), Elsie May (1900 - 1908) and Frederick Charles (b.1902) Jeeves.
In 1901, the family lived at 18, Haven Street, Prospect Street, Radford, Nottingham.
In 1908, Mary Anne Jeeves married William Henry Potter, a publican, at Nottingham.
In 1911, they lived at 53, Willoughby Street, New Lenton, Nottingham with three of Mary Anne's children (Adelaide, Harry and Frederick) and a son from their marriage, William Henry Potter (b.1908). Mary Anne later lived at 54, Citadel Street, Radford (CWGC).
CWGC cites 20 as Henry's age at death but his birth was registered J/F/M/1899 and this date is consistent with 1901 and 1911 census data.
Private Harry Jeeves enlisted at Nottingham whilst residing at Radford, he served with the 17th battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment, he died of wounds on 4th July 1916 and is buried in Bethune Town Cemetery, Grave Reference: V F 46
