Family history

George Edward Harvey Ingram was born in 1896 at Brighton, he was the son of Edward Harvey ahouse painter and Ann Ingram née Young of Kneeton Road East Bridgford Nottingham.

His father Edward Harvey was born in 1872 at Yeovil, Somerset, his mother Annie Young was born in 1876 at Brighton, Sussex, they were married on 27th November 1892 at St Bartholomews, Brighton, Sussex, they had 5 children.

In the 1911 census the family are living at 47 Station Crescent, Tottenham, Edward Harvey 38 yrs is a house painter, he is living with his wife Annie 35 yrs and their children, Ada Annie 17 yrs a machinist, George Edward 14 yrs an errand boy, Charles Hector 7 yrs a scholar, Elizabeth May 4 yrs of age and Minnie Rose 2 yrears of age. 
Military history

Private George Edward Harvey Ingram enlisted at Holbourn whilst residing at Leyton, Essex, he served with the 14th battalion Royal Welch Fusiliers, he was killed in action on 22nd April 1918, he is buried at Bouzincourt Ridge Cemetery, Albert, France
