His brother, Harold, served as 2275 (478767) Sapper H. Bellamy with 649th West Riding Field Company, Royal Engineers. He enlisted on 30th March 1915 and arrived in France on 10th October 1915. He was discharged 18th July 1918 under Para 392 XVI. SWB Roll RE/2282 Badge Number 445271. He was an Acting Corporal when discharged. He was gassed and also wounded.
His brother, Horace, served as 2276 (478332) Sapper H. Bellamy with West Riding Royal Engineers. He enlisted at 16 and arrived in France on 10th October 1915. He was awarded the Military Medal. He survived the war and was transferred to Class Z Reserve on 11th April 1919
