Nottingham (Basford) - Rawson Street Primitive Methodist Church (Closed)
Rawson Street, Basford, Nottingham. The foundation stone for this church was laid 27 October 1874 and the final services were held 20 December 1973. The dedication reads ‘They whom this tablet commemorates were numbered amongst those who, at their country’s call, left all that was dear to them, endured hardship, faced danger and finally passed out of the sight of men by the path of duty and self-sacrifice, giving up their own lives that others might live in freedom. Let those who come after see to it that their names are not forgotten.’
