Holy Trinity, Church Street, Lambley NG4 4PD. This modern memorial commemorates both First and Second World War casualties; the inscription reads, 'Lambley Parish. In remembrance of the men who gave their lives during two World Wars (names) They fought for peace. Pray God they have found it'. The names are listed under the dates of each conflict; 11 First World War and 6 Second World War. Additionally, a pulpit made of reclaimed oak was installed in 1918 as a 'thank offering for peace' (full inscription, 'A thank offering for peace. Anno Salutis 1918'.) The Manor of Lambley was owned by Ralph 3rd Baron Cromwell (c.1313-1456), Treasurer of England 1433-1443, and he caused the church to be rebuilt. The oak pulpit, installed in 1918 as a memorial to the fallen of the Great War, was a copy of one in Tattershall Castle, Lincolnshire, one of Ralph Cromwell's properties.
