Dedication: 'To our heroic dead (names) Who of their own free will fought in the Great War 1914-1919'. A faculty for the installation of the memorial - a bronze tablet in an alabaster frame - was approved on 18 August 1920 so the memorial was probably dedicated the same year. The tablet cost £60.
