Car Colston - St Mary's Church
Wooden board with carved laurel wreath above the inscription in gold lettering. Board has a plinth with carved pillars either side of the board. The board is surmounted by a pediment with a wooden calvary cross above. (Source: Southwell and Nottingham Church History Project) Inscription: 'To the Glory of God and in memory of the men of this parish who gave their lives in the Great War 1914-1919. (Names) Their name liveth for evermore'
